You must be at least 16 years of age, be a current member of ASA, have a current ASA-101 certification and at least 20 hours of sailing experience. Per MWR rules, you must be at least 18 to rent a boat with a motor.
Due to COVID-19 you must bring and wear a mask at all times in the classroom and on the boat.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds will not be given unless the student cancels at least 1 week prior to start of class, or a paying substitute student is found. There is a $50 reschedule fee for failure to attend class without providing 1 week's notice of the need to reschedule.
About this event
ASA-103 Class for certification to use the Intermediate boats at NPSC. Class is taught onboard the C250s with one session on Skyline. Classes will be taught over 2 evenings and one Saturday, with the final exam the following weekend. By signing up for this class you are automatically signed up for the other dates.
Students who pass will receive an ASA-103 Certification.
